Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SecuraHaul ("SecuraHaul", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information in connection with this website and the Safety Roadmap report (the "Roadmap"). It applies to this site only, and not to any third-party site we link to. By using this site or requesting a Roadmap, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms & Conditions.
Information you give us
- Your USDOT number
- Your work email address
- Your company name, where you enter it manually
- Anything you choose to include when you reply to one of our emails
Public records we look up
When you submit a USDOT number, we retrieve publicly available records published by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation for that carrier. This can include carrier identity and address, fleet size, operating authority, roadside inspections, violations, out-of-service records, crash records and SMS BASIC measures. This information is public government data about a business. We did not obtain it from you, and we do not control its accuracy or availability.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and analytics providers collect standard technical information when you visit, such as IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed. We use this to keep the site secure, prevent abuse, measure traffic and improve the site. We use privacy-focused analytics and do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels on this page.
How we use information
- To prepare and deliver the Roadmap you requested
- To confirm your request and communicate with you about it
- To contact you by email about your fleet's compliance and about SecuraHaul products and services
- To send occasional compliance resources and product updates, which you can stop at any time
- To operate, secure, debug and improve this site, and to prevent fraud, spam and abuse
- To keep records of consent, and to comply with legal obligations or enforce our Terms
Marketing and how to stop it
By submitting the form and checking the consent box, you agree that we may email you about your fleet's compliance and about SecuraHaul. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us at support@securahaul.com to opt out. We may still send you transactional messages relating to a request you made.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers who help us run this site and communicate with you, acting on our instructions. These currently include our hosting and analytics provider, our email delivery provider, and the spreadsheet and productivity tools we use to manage requests.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena or legal process; to enforce our Terms; or to protect the rights, property or safety of SecuraHaul, our users or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to the transferred information.
How long we keep it
We keep the information you submit, together with the Roadmap we produced and a record of your consent, for as long as needed for the purposes described above, to maintain business records, and to comply with legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner, as described below.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transport and access controls at our providers. No website, transmission or storage method is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You submit information at your own risk.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message we send
- Ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you
- Ask us to stop processing your information for marketing purposes
To exercise any of these, email support@securahaul.com from the address you submitted, or tell us enough to verify your request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Note that public FMCSA records are published by the government, not by us, and requests to change them must go to FMCSA.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it; to request deletion or correction; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us at the address above.
Where we operate
This site is intended for use by businesses in the United States, and information is processed in the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
